Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was able to hand Aspen an unanimity loss and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her, winning the TKO in second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and earned a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first major match. Ladd took home the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and end Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
