Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian performer and musician who has given us hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Being a young and successful singer-songwriter she is already one of the top selling performers. Born in Barbados, she was able the joy of reggae, and even began singing as a child. To escape her parents' tensions along with her parent's constant disputes She began singing. When she was still in high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talents of this young lady. He suggested that she make the move from her home in New York in order to make a career of it as a singer which she readily accepted. Rihanna released her debut album and became an overnight star. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping were the most popular with teens, which led Rihanna to make films and films. Talented and young, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol and fashion icon. Rihanna uses her celebrity for good and is actively involved with several charity causes.
